PHILOSOPHY OF RECRUITMENT

Each assignment is considered unique and our services are customized to meet the specific requirements of your search. Our methods of recruitment follow Executive Search criteria, rather than simply a database search.

We do maintain a database of professionals, but this source is only one of a multitude that we employ to uncover suitable candidates.

We form a contractual partnership, whereby our mutual knowledge and industry intelligence is pooled to source the best possible candidates.

   

We do not compete with you. Our expertise compliments your management's efforts to hire staff who fit your culture and technical environment by understanding the position specifications, educational qualifications and personality 'fit'.

To ensure an objective, consistent screening process, a criteria list of essential skills and personal traits is created. This is augmented by a list of 'desirable assets'.

All candidates are presented with a Management Overview focusing on the search criteria and detailing the candidate's present status and expectations. If the candidate does not meet the criteria, they are not presented to you. As an added tool for candidate evaluation, Personality Profiling can be completed.

CONSULTANT INVOLVEMENT

We firmly believe that to be successful, our involvement must not stop at the 'sourcing' phase of the process.

We consider referencing, done before presenting an offer and assistance in the offer negotiation, a critical part of our duties. Our consultants are adept at drawing out important details that verify facts and feelings revealed during the interviews. The goal is to eliminate surprises and our Service Guarantee shows we are prepared to stand behind our work and support your decision.

SERVICE GUARANTEE

Our placement guarantee applies once, with respect to any one assignment. The guarantee covers dismissal, resignation, or illness of the candidate, but does not apply in the event of business reorganization, closure, layoff or bankruptcy.

The guarantee is a replacement service only; there is no refund or cancellation of the fee. Bailey Professional Search must be notified, in writing, within 7 days of the employee's termination. A credit will apply against the next placement within 12 months of this notice. In all cases, the guarantee is validated by payment of our fees within fifteen (15) days from date of hire.

The scope of our services is designed to be flexible enough to meet the individual situations faced by our clients at the time of the search. Whether you require a few hours of objective consultation for candidate testing, advertisement preparation or a full Executive Search, we construct the program you need.
